Misyon ve Vizyon

İç Mimarlık Bölümü Misyonu: Geleneksel vakıf kültürümüzün iç mimarlık ve tasarım değerlerini çağdaş bilgi ile sentezleyen, donanımlı, araştırmacı, girişimci, iç mimarlık pratiği etik ve estetik değerlerinin farkında meslek insanları yetiştirmektir.

İç Mimarlık Bölümü Vizyonu: Eğitim programı ile sürekli gelişimi hedefleyen, etik ve kültürel duyarlılığa sahip, ulusal ve uluslararası akreditasyon kurullarının belirlediği kriterlere uygun eğitim veren, mezunları ile iletişim içerisinde bulunan, sektörel iş birlikleri kuran, akademik araştırma faaliyetleri ve yayınlarla iç mimarlık alanındaki bilgi birikimini geliştiren, sektördeki değişimlere hızlı bir şekilde adapte olarak geleceğe yönelik hedefler belirleyen bir bölüm olmaktır.

İç Mimarlık Bölümü Amaçları: Bölümün amacı aşağıdaki özelliklerde İç Mimar yetiştirmektir.

1. Ulusal ve uluslararası arenada iç mimarinin gelişmesine katkıda bulunacak iç mimar adaylarını meslek hayatına hazırlamak. 

2. Yeni teknolojilerin mesleki amaçla kullanımı konusunda yetkin ve gelecekçi bakış açısına sahip, bilgiyi teknolojik olarak işleme ve tasarımı teknoloji ile biçimlendirme niteliğiyle ön plana çıkan iç mimarlar yetiştirmek. 

3. İç mekânda malzeme kullanımı konusunda teorik bilgiye sahip, uygulama yöntemlerine hâkim ve yeni malzemeler geliştirebilecek inovasyon yeteneği olan iç mimarlar yetiştirmek. 

4. Topluma biçim, fonksiyon, işlev ve estetiği bir arada kurgulayabilen, analitik düşünce yeteneğine sahip iç mimarlar kazandırmak. 

5. Tasarıma multidisipliner ve çok yönlü yaklaşım gösterebilen ve çağı yakalayan adayları geleceğe hazırlamak. 

6. Çevreye duyarlı, doğaya önem veren, ekolojik, toplumsal ve ekonomik sürdürülebilir tasarım bilincine sahip iç mimarlar yetiştirmek.

7. Mesleki ve etik bilinci oluşmuş, milli değerlere ve toplumsal yapıya sahip çıkan iç mimarlar yetiştirmek. 

8. Grup çalışmalarına yatkın, toplumsal düşünebilen, iletişim ve sosyal yönü kuvvetli iç mimarlar yetiştirmek.

İç Mimarlık Bölümü Hedefleri: İç Mimarlık Programımız, ulusal ve uluslararası düzeyde iç mimarlık alanının gelişimine katkı sağlayabilecek donanımlı iç mimarlar yetiştirmeyi amaçlamaktadır. Bu amaçla yeni teknolojileri etkin kullanabilen, tasarımı teknolojiyle birleştirme yeteneğine sahip ve malzeme bilgisi ile inovasyon becerisiyle öne çıkan bireyler kazandırmayı hedeflemektedir. Analitik düşünebilen, estetik ve işlevselliği bir arada kurgulayabilen, multidisipliner yaklaşımları benimseyen ve çağın gerekliliklerini karşılayabilecek nitelikte tasarımcılar yetiştirmeyi öncelik edinmiştir. Ayrıca, çevreye duyarlı, ekolojik, toplumsal ve ekonomik sürdürülebilirlik bilincine sahip, mesleki ve etik değerleri benimsemiş, milli ve toplumsal değerlere duyarlı bireyler kazandırmak programın önemli bir hedefidir. Grup çalışmasına yatkın, güçlü iletişim becerilerine sahip, toplumsal sorumluluk bilinci gelişmiş iç mimar adaylarını geleceğe hazırlamayı hedeflemektedir.

Bu hedef ve amaçlar, Fatih Sultan Mehmet Vakıf Üniversitesi İç Mimarlık Bölümü'nün, öğrencilere nitelikli bir eğitim sunarak, mezunlarını İç Mimarlık sektöründe güçlü ve başarılı kariyerlere yönlendirmeyi hedeflediğini ortaya koymaktadır. Programın öğretim amaçlarının belirlenmesinde, stratejik planlama süreçleri temel alınmış olup, akreditasyon için bölümde bir komisyon kurularak, iç ve dış paydaşlarla toplantılar yapılmış ve akreditasyon süreci başlatılmıştır. Eğitim kalitesini sürekli iyileştirmek ve hızla değişen dünyaya uyum sağlamak adına, programın öğretim hedefleri yukarıda belirtilen unsurlar doğrultusunda sürekli olarak gözden geçirilip güncellenmektedir.

 

                                                                                                                                                                                                                            
 
 

Interior Architecture Department Mission: To educate well-equipped, researcher, entrepreneurial, professional people who synthesize the interior architecture and design values of our traditional foundation culture with contemporary knowledge, who are aware of the ethical and aesthetic values of interior architecture practice.

Vision of the Department of Interior Architecture: To be a department that aims continuous development with its education program, has ethical and cultural sensitivity, provides education in accordance with the criteria determined by national and international accreditation boards, communicates with its graduates, establishes sectoral collaborations, develops knowledge in the field of interior architecture through academic research activities and publications, and sets goals for the future by quickly adapting to changes in the sector.

Aims of the Department of Interior Architecture: The aim of the department is to train Interior Architects with the following characteristics.

1. To prepare interior architect candidates who will contribute to the development of interior architecture in the national and international arena. 

2. To train interior architects who are competent in the use of new technologies for professional purposes and who have a futuristic perspective, who stand out with the quality of processing information technologically and shaping design with technology. 

3. To train interior architects who have theoretical knowledge about the use of materials in interior space, have a command of application methods and have the ability to innovate and develop new materials. 

4. To provide the society with interior architects who are capable of form, function, function and aesthetics together and have the ability of analytical thinking. 

5. To prepare candidates for the future who can show a multidisciplinary and multifaceted approach to design and catch up with the age. 

6. To train interior architects who are sensitive to the environment, who care about nature, who have ecological, social and economic sustainable design awareness.

7. To train interior architects who have professional and ethical awareness, who protect national values and social structure. 

8. To train interior architects who are prone to group work, can think socially, have strong communication and social skills.

Goals of the Department of Interior Architecture: Our Interior Architecture Program aims to train well-equipped interior architects who can contribute to the development of the field of interior architecture at national and international level. For this purpose, it aims to provide individuals who can use new technologies effectively, have the ability to combine design with technology, and stand out with their knowledge of materials and innovation skills. It has prioritized to train designers who can think analytically, build aesthetics and functionality together, adopt multidisciplinary approaches and meet the requirements of the age. In addition, it is an important goal of the program to gain individuals who are sensitive to the environment, have ecological, social and economic sustainability awareness, have adopted professional and ethical values, and are sensitive to national and social values. It aims to prepare interior architect candidates who are prone to group work, have strong communication skills, and have a developed sense of social responsibility for the future.

These goals and objectives reveal that Fatih Sultan Mehmet Vakıf University Department of Interior Architecture aims to guide its graduates to strong and successful careers in the Interior Architecture sector by providing students with a qualified education. In determining the teaching objectives of the program, strategic planning processes were taken as a basis, a commission was established in the department for accreditation, meetings were held with internal and external stakeholders and the accreditation process was initiated. In order to continuously improve the quality of education and adapt to the rapidly changing world, the program's teaching objectives are constantly reviewed and updated in line with the above-mentioned factors.
